SEDOL and Leider Greenhouses have been in partnership for almost 20 years. Leider Greenhouses provides employment experiences for students who are participating in SEDOL’s work transition program. At the beginning of each semester, we work with job coaches to tailor tasks and jobs to each students goals that they are working toward. We are proud to give students an opportunity to gain work experience in a unique and challenging environment.
Center for enriched living (CEL)
CEL and Leider Greenhouses have been working together since the summer of 2021. Leider Greenhouses hires CEL members for part-time work opportunities. We hire employees who want to try out a new work environment, learn new skills, and/or work in small groups and teams. We strive to provide CEL members with a wide variety of tasks so they can experience the many aspects of our business.
seed your future
Seed Your Future is an organization that seeks to promote the horticulture industry and encourage people to pursue careers working with plants. Leider Greenhouses has been partnering with Seed Your Future in a variety of of their initiatives, including Green Career Week, since 2021. Most recently, we participated in their Seed to Stem cohort educating teachers from a variety of disciplines about the many types of careers available in the horticulture industry.
